So its all progressing. legs stronger, balance stronger. Megan has modified the programme and ive even done my first mini sprint with T – he did beat me but progress! and the look on his face that i was able to run – priceless.
So how has this been gone so far. Megan added hip adductors into the mix – or as she and other call it “The Good Girl, Bad Girl Machine” – i will let the reader determine why it is called that.
Alas, the good girl element broke me – nothing at the time. but the DOMS the next 36 hours later – a struggle to walk and painful 24-7
Last night involved hot bath, stretching, theragun with caution, protein shake before bed + 300ml water and took a sleeping tablet. slept from 10.30pm to 8am.
Feeling much more alert today
This shows its an area of weakness which needs to be fixed before the return to skiing!
